Annual Check-ups

During your annual check-up (or recall) appointment, the Battell Denture Clinic team ensures your dentures continue to provide optimal comfort, function, and appearance. We assess the fit and condition of your dentures, look for signs of wear or change, and make any necessary adjustments to keep your smile feeling natural and your denture teeth secure.

We also carefully examine your oral tissues and supporting structures for any changes that could affect your denture’s fit or your overall oral health. We are trained to identify abnormalities or areas of concern and promptly refer you to the appropriate dental or medical professional for diagnosis and treatment if necessary.

Your visit also includes an update to your medical and dental history so we can ensure your care plan reflects any recent changes to your health or medications.

Annual check-ups are recommended for anyone with complete, partial, immediate, or implant secured dentures. These visits help extend the life of your dentures and ensure they continue to fit comfortably and function efficiently.

During your appointment, our Denturists will assess the fit, comfort, and chewing efficiency of your dentures, check their overall integrity, and—when needed—provide same-day relines, additions, or repairs to keep your smile performing at its best.
